Present Continuous

Present Continuous.


You use the present continuous to talk about activities in progress now.

1)Affirmative form.

                           "I am talking with my sister"
  
                              
                        "You are working today".

                          
                          "She is having fun".


                        "He is reading a book"
                                         
                   
                            "It is raining now".

                                      

              "We are swimming in the ocean".
    

                           "They are dancing".
                                         
Structure
Subject + Aux + verb-ing + complement.




2)Negative form.

"I’m not bowling right now".

Structure:
Subject + Aux + not+ verb-ing + complement.

 


3)Question form.

Are you studying a lot?          
      Yes, I am.                              

      No, I'm not.                




                       Structure:
Aux + Subject + Verb-ing + complement + ?



Now, think:
How do you say in English "estoy usando mi computadora"...?
